We Made Headlines....

Details are the highlight of this year's Gallery of
Homes.
One in particular stands out for Ray Budde, who is presiding over the
first show home tour since 2002 to be presented by the Home Builders
Association of the Greater Fox Valley. "It's the most expensive set of
homes we've ever had," said Budde, association executive vice president.
Budde and 10 home builders opened the doors Monday for the media.
The association, area custom home builders, DuPont Tyvek and Tall Oaks
subdivision developer Wyndham Deerpoint will present the tour in an oak-grove setting that has inspired a sumptuous
display of the home-building arts.
"Never have all of [the participating homes] been at this level," Budde
said. "It's in the details."

“Builders participating in this show, unlike production
builders, are accustomed to working on individual homes and as such can
be flexible about floor plans and build in a variety of prices.”
“The master bath in the Seville Manor built by SeBern Homes of St.
Charles boasts a combination or marble and onyx.”

"The oak trees
are a beautiful setting, and most of the houses look like they have been
there 20 or 30 years," he said. "We are expecting 30,000 people,
minimum, and we hope it's closer to 50,000."
The show is the first since 2002 because "builders were waiting for just
the right setting," Budde said. "And now we have it."
